Antiparos, Greece

Approaching the port where speed boats and ferries were lined up, smiles and laughter were all around. The first sight was the white and pastel-coloured houses, accessorised with plant-filled balconies overlooking the swarm of boats on the bright blue waves. I followed hues of white, pink and blue; first walking along the bay, enjoying the breeze, and then into the narrow valleys guiding me to the town. Boutiques and cafes decorated the paved paths that lead me deeper into the island. Every shop was brightened with handmade clothes, jewellery and artefacts, each more beautiful than the last, and the joy on the local's faces made the entire experience even more colourful. Whether it be the crowded gelato parlour or the authentic clothing, the quality of each corner of the island were above my expectations. Speaking of gelato; don't miss it! Whatever flavour you fancy, nothing beats a frozen delicacy on a hot summer day.
After exploring this delightful town, I decided to head to the beach for a relaxing meal so I drove over to the Antiparos cave beach. The variety of restaurants was incredible, but no matter where you choose to sit, the view and food would both be impeccable. Following my meal that consisted of every seafood imaginable, the sunbeds on the beach were too tempting, so before returning to my hotel in Paros, I spent a few hours enjoying the heat of the Greek sun and the evening breeze.
